Yes, the voltage designation is important.\u00a0 You must use a 12 volt coil for a 12 volt electrical system.\u00a0 I have seen some sellers selling coils for Willys vehicles and not even indicating if the coil is for\u00a06 or 12 volt systems.\u00a0 Most of the coils on the market are of very\u00a0<\/b>questionable<\/b>\u00a0quality.\u00a0 You know Standard Motor Products as the best brand on the market.\u00a0\u00a0<\/b><\/span>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Do you know that one of the signs of a weak, failing, or junk ignition coil is that the vehicle will run correctly initially, then after a few minutes as the coil heats up, the engine will loose significant power and run very poorly.\u00a0 Many times, intermittent engine running problems are the result of a low quality coil.<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n
