This item is a new production 12 volt conversion kit. Designed for the Willys CJ2A style jeep.\u00a0 Correct for the Willys L134 or F134 Jeep engines.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Kit includes a one wire alternator and our very own designed and produced alternator bracket.\u00a0 NOTE: Be aware that other sellers have copied our bracket and “knocked them off”.\u00a0 These inferior copies do not fit as well as our original designed and in house produced bracket.\u00a0 We have the correct dies to make the critical bends in this bracket.\u00a0 I secretly purchased one of the knock off brackets.\u00a0 It is now in my scrap pile!\u00a0 \u00a0Our designed bracket is made right here in the USA with USA steel.\u00a0 Not a China knockoff!<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Are you tired of the ridiculous and hideous alternator brackets that are being offered for your Willys L134 or F134 Jeep engines today? They are very difficult to use and mount and generally perform very poorly.\u00a0 Our alternator bracket is not a univeral bracket.\u00a0 It is custom designed and built for the Willys L134 & F134 engines only.\u00a0 It actually fits and works!\u00a0 This bracket is only available from Classic Military Vehicles and is made in the USA!<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The 12 volt alternator in this kit is a one wire model.\u00a0 It has the correct pulley on it to fit the 5\/8 inch fanbelt that is required with the vintage jeeps.\u00a0 This is a 12v, 63A model.\u00a0 This alternator is perfectly designed for the vintage jeeps as it begins charging at lower RPM’s than other alternators desinged for cars or trucks.\u00a0 This alternator begins generating at very low RPM’s, delivers 45 amps at 1800 RPM’s, 63 amps at 2400 RPM’s and 74 amps at 3500 RPM’s.\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Yes, we could assemble an alternator kit for a bit less money, but you would not be happy with it.\u00a0 There are more junk jeep parts on the market today than there are good parts.\u00a0 We built this kit around our custom made alternator bracket and added a quality alternator.\u00a0 Look at the other alternator brackets on the market.\u00a0 You will clearly see the difference!<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The pictured engine is not included.\u00a0 This kit includes the alternator and bracket only.\u00a0 Custom made one wire pigtail with built in fusible link also available separately. The pictures of the alternator and bracket installed on one of our rebuilt engines is for example purposes only so you can see how well this alternator bracket works.\u00a0 We send these alternators and brackets out on our rebuilt L134 Jeep engines and our customers love them!<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n
