This item is an original military NOS gas cap.  For many M series military vehicles and army jeeps.  Correct for the M38, M38A1, M37, M151, M170, and many M series military trucks.  This is an original military NOS item.  Not a reproduction or imported item.  Includes attaching chain and clip.  The gasket is in place and in very nice, like new condition.  These caps have the fording valve and the “ears” for gripping when turning.  Very good and like new condition.  

Some minor paint scuffs and there is some variation in the OD green paint color from one cap to another.  

These caps are original military surplus and will be a very nice and functional addition to your vintage military vehicle.
