This item is a very high quality new production crankshaft rear main seal. Correct for Willys MB or Ford GPW WWII jeeps as well as Willys CJ2A, CJ3A, M38, M38A1 and early CJ5 and CJ6 with the F134 engine. Correct for either the L134 or F134 Willys Jeep engines. Made in USA!
Correct for 1933-66 4-134 Willys Jeep engines, both F134 and L134.
Also correct for 1948-56 6-148 and 6-161 Jeep engines, both L & F Head.
Very high quality GraphTite rope rear main seal. This seal actually fits correctly and works nicely. Many of the reproduction rear main seals on the market today fail immediately because they are simply too tight. Some of these bad seals are so tight that the crankshaft cannot be turned once they are installed. These seals usually burn up within the first few minutes of engine running or damage the crankshaft. If you are wanting to use a rope seal like originally used, this is the only one on the market that will actually work.
These seals are the best made and are in fact the only choice if you want the seal to work. These seals are not too tight when installed correctly. These rope seals also cut easily to trim. Some of the name brand rope seals on the market simply cannot be cut to trim without totally damaging the seal. Includes installation and trimming instruction sheet and trimming knive.
These seals cut like butter! No need to presoak. Very formable. New technology but proven! This seal will deliver success where others fail. From a brand we have come to trust, Best Gasket.
These are factory fresh seals and not 60 year old military surplus. Don’t put a faulty seal or a 60 year old seal in your jeep. The job of rear main seal replacement is too time consuming to use anything other than the best.

I wanted to let you know that the quality on all of the things I have here seems to be really good and your prices were definitely the best. The fuel pump is getting put on my engine at the rebuilder today so I’ll let you know how it works.
