1945 Willys MB, #MB431xxx.  $8,000.

Fresh from the barn.  1945 Willys MB.  Number on the frame is MB431xxx.  Number on the engine is MB578xxx.  Very nice, solid, complete, jeep.  Nothing from almost 80 years ago is perfect, but I just cannot find them like this one anymore.  This one would be a great jeep to start a full restoration with.  Still has most everything correct under the hood.  Engine turns over very easily by hand.  I have not tried to start it.  I did drain the block and radiator which was pretty full of antifreeze.

Story is that the jeep was used by a previous owner to deliver rural mail.  It had a half cab on it at one point which is why it has some “marks” behind the front seats.  This is residue from where the half cab was removed.  I looked at the frame and it looks very nice.  Body is not perfect but a 8 or 9 compared to what is normally found on an old jeep.  Doesn’t look like this jeep had a hard life.
