WILLYS M38 OIL BATH AIR CLEANER

ORIGINAL TAKE OFF ITEM

This item is an all original oil bath air cleaner for the Willys M38 army jeep.  This air cleaner assembly has the second tube port on the side for attaching the pre-cleaner or snorkel.  While this looks identical to the CJ2A or CJ3A air cleaner assembly, only the M38 army jeep had the air cleaner with the second tube.  Original M38 oil bath air cleaners are unique and harder to find.  

This air cleaner is original and vintage.  It is a bit crusty and dirty but should restore nicely.  The bottom oil pan looks solid to me.  The crust is mostly road grime and surface rust.  This item should restore nicely and make a fine addition to your vintage Willys M38 army jeep project.
