New, High Quality and Correct replacement brake master cylinder.

This master cylinder is correct for late Willys CJ2A jeeps (1948-1949 after serial #215650).  Late CJ2A master cylinders have both mounting holes unthreaded.  If one of your mounting holes is threaded, then this is not correct for your CJ2A.

The mounting holes on this master cylinder measure 3 1/2 inches from center to center.  

NOTE:  It is very common to be confused about which master cylinder is correct for your CJ2A since the style of master cylinder changed during CJ2A production.  Don’t go by the date or serial number on your title or data plates as these may have been swapped out over the years.  Simply use this rule:  If the master cylinder your are removing has a threaded front mounting hole, then you have the early style.  If both of the mounting holes in the master cylinder are unthreaded then you have the late style.  This listing is for the late style.  Call me if you have any questions!
