This item is a new production 12 volt hi-torque starter motor.  Correct for 97 tooth flywheel.

Smaller and more compact than the original Autolite starters.  These gear reduction starters crank strong and pull less from your battery.. a double benefit.  A more modern alternative to the old technology. 

Replacement for the Autolite MZ-4113.

NOTE:  Only use with 97 tooth flywheel which was original equipment on the Ford GPW, Willys MB, and CJ2A.  Be sure to check your flywheel before ordering as it is common for flywheels to be swapped around over the years.  Also, this is a 12 volt starter.  Not for use with 6 volt electrical systems.
