This is an all original Purolator Oil Filter Canister for a Willys MB or Ford GPW army jeep.  This came off of a Willys MB engine.  Lid is clearly stamped, “MILITARY STANDARD FILTER” and “PUROLATOR PRODUCTS INC”.

Includes lid, lid bolt, filter to lid spring, and brackets.  Don’t spend $300 for a reproduction oil filter canister for your WWII jeep when you can have an all original and period correct canister for less money.  Lid bolt threads in center tube are good as are the bolt threads.  All original stuff here.
