This item is a very high quality new production distributor cap for the Ford GPW, GPA or Willys MB WWII army jeeps.  This cap is brown just like the original ones.  You may not be able to tell in the photos, but this is the correct color of brown. These look very nice.  These are also of the highest quality and work correctly.  

The bottom lip measures 3 1/8 inches across measuring from inside lip to lip.  This cap has a locator tab on the inside to aid in correct positioning when installing.  This locator tab measures approx just over one inch.  Very high quality and correct distributor cap.
