This item is an original take off part.  This is the emergency brake drum that is part of the Jeep A Trench set up used on the Willys CJ2A, CJ3A, CJ3B, and CJ5.  

When the Jeep A Trench was installed on the jeep, the original emergency brake drum was removed and this one was installed.  The difference is that the drum for the Jeep A Trench had the gear drive teeth on it.  The jeep a trench powered the forward motion of the jeep (slowly) by turning this drum.

This is an original take off part.  Not a reproduction.  This drum is a bit dirty and crusty but will clean up nicely.  Don’t settle for cheap import parts!  The inner surface of the drum is coated in oil and grease but looks very useable.
