1952 Dodge M37 With Winch,  $5500.

1952 Dodge M37 army truck.  Very straight truck.  Still very original and complete.  Truck is located in the Boston Massachusetts area.  We are listing this for a friend.  Includes lots of extra parts and tools.  Please contact me directly for more information about this truck.

It is getting hard to find a complete and straight M37.

Here is some information about this truck.

1952 Dodge M37 complete vehicle aside from rear canvas. Has a winch. Forward facing flood lights on front bumper. Pedestal spotlight (wire service version). “Hot Water” heat. Heater core mounted front left fender. Complete set wooden canvas bows – brand new cab canvas seat covers – all matching tires.

Project interrupted, electrical harness installation incomplete.  Not currently running.

Work Completed:  New plugs.  New wires.  Oil filter,  Oil change,  Previous owner “crate motor”.  Rebuilt fuel filter.  Brakes.  Wheel cylinders.  All brake pads 0.30” over.  All brake lines.  Master cylinder.  Fuel System: Tank patched, tested, lined, baked and painted. Probably requires fuel sending unit

Replaced:  All fuel lines – hard, soft, vent.  Fuel pump replaced  Carburetor – rebuilt and replaced  Ignition – Fully rebuilt distributor with Pertronix electronic ignition.  New coil.

Cab Doors – Major Fabrication:  Lower door rot replaced. Lower door panels re skinned.  Rear bed:  Wood sides and seats replaced in white oak.  Repaired tailgate/hinge points.

Electrical:  Added a ground isolation switch at the battery.  Batteries replaced at purchase.  Multiple gauges replaced.  Oil pressure sending unit – replaced but questionable.  All after market wiring removed.  Wiring harness removed, patched in 12” +/- at all ends.  All wires have been tagged

Rebuilt as M37B1 – note: cannon plug/headlight switch box j pin added.  Turn Signals are included in the harness.  Signal Sat turn switch wired into harness.  Set up noted on the schematic single bulb turn/brake light.  Lighted rear license plate bracket 24v.  Secondary turn signals added front bumper 24v.  Both headlights replaced.  Both front markers original.  Rear taillight B1 series

Wiring harness – Rear of vehicle Packard Connectors. All other connectors are Douglas type.  All wires are marked as per schematic.

Engine:  Replaced intake and exhaust manifold.  Replaced all studs, nuts and gaskets.  Replaced carburetor.

Exhaust:  Replaced downpipe, muffler, jpipe and muffler hangers.  Remanufactured custom new exhaust stack.  Exhaust Stack – needs to be trimmed and remounted and final flange mounted.  Note: Check all manifold nut torques – all were installed with anti seize compound.

Extras:  10 ton hydraulic RAM 1¾” Socket Set.  Campbell & Hausfeld 220v MIG welder with tank regulator spares.  3 HP power compressor.  Wiring marker tabs, crimper, 1/8”# set  Other assorted bits and spares.
