This item is a new production lower throttle body for the Carter WO carburetor.  This includes a new throttle shaft with throttle valve and new idle adjusting screw.

Forever, we have been using worn out throttle bodies and shafts in our Carter WO rebuilds.  Nine times out of 10 a Carter WO rebuild will not work because this lower throttle body is worn out at the shaft opening which results in a vacuum leak.  The only fix has been to install bushings in the throttle body which is a time consuming and expensive option.

Now a new throttle body with shaft is available to correct your Carter WO vacuum leak issues.  This part is a super high quality part and no detail has been left undone.  This part is correct for the WWII Carter WO carbs on the Ford GPW and Willys MB but will work just fine for the later model applications such as CJ2A and CJ3A.  Marked with Carter markings on the linkage plate and the inner throttle valve!
