Each kit includes everything needed to adapt one cylinder including a new NGK spark plug! A 4 cylinder vehicle will require 4 kits, etc.
A few years ago, Autolite discontinued production of the 2243 & 2245 waterproof spark plugs that were necessary equipment for the military 24 volt electrical systems in the Willys M38, M38A1, M151, and other military vehicles. Remaining stock of the autolite plugs have long since disappeared. If you can find one today, it easily sells for $40 or more. I have even seen desperate military vehicles owners pay top dollar for a used autolite 2243 spark plug.
There are some 24 volt spark plug alternatives, but they have proven to be disappointing at best. You don’t want to put a junk or used spark plug into your classic and historic military vehicles.
Now Classic Military Vehicles has an alternative for you that allows you to use an off the shelf standard spark plug. A one time investment of this spark plug adapter allows you to never buy a $30 or $40 dollar spark plug again if you can even find one! This spark plug adapter is high quality, tested, proven and super easy to install. No modification to your vehicle or electrical system is required.
Each kit includes one adapter tube, brass nut, and new NGK spark plug. Everything needed to conver one cylinder. For a 4 cylinder vehicle like the Willys M38, you will need 4 kits. Once you invest in the kit, you can then use a standard NGK spark plug each time you need to change plugs. The kit does require a spark plug that has a removeable tip like the NGK.

For converting Autolite 2243 & 2245 to standard plugs
Installation instructions:
1) Remove screw on terminal from top of new NGK spark plug.
2) Install new NGK spark plugs in engine.
3) Slip plastic sleeve over spark plug, threaded end goes up.
4) Insert brass nut into top of plastic sleeve and secure to spark plug terminal with screw driver.
5) Attach military 24 volt spark plug wire to top of plastic sleeve. Cable only needs to be slightly tighter than fingers can accomplish. Do not over tighten spark plug cable.
Never buy another high dollar and hard to fine 2243 or 2245 spark plug.
Similar in appearance to the original plugs.
These adaptors have been highly tested in our vehicles and perform perfectly.
Sleeve is manufactured from Peek brand high temperature plastic that is used in the aviation and oil field industries.
The NGK spark plug is a high quality plug made in Japan and compatible in performance to the 2243 & 2245 waterproof plugs.
